  • Medicare and Medicaid Seminar +

    This class will be offered by Marie Burns, LMSW and Add Goff, Attorney, regarding information on Medicare and Medicaid as it pertains to senior adults. Included will be Medicaid planning basics, the differences between the two programs, and the basic benefits offered by each. Senior Adults and caregivers are invited. Please sign up by the morning of the event.

  • Soup for the Soul +

    Christian Community Action will host their annual fundraiser Tuesday, October 24 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Cost for lunch will be $10 at the door with a canned meat item. Tickets will also be available in the foyer of the fellowship hall or the church office.

  • Trunk or Treat +

    Fun, Food, and Candy! Come out and have a blast with us on Wednesday October 25 from 5:00 to 7:00 pm in the back parking lot of the Trinity Center. Come and decorate your trunk, take your children "trunk"-or-treating and enjoy hot dogs for $3/ plate, or a baked potato for $5. If you are interested in helping with this event, contact Amy Green.

  • The Island at D'Arbonne +

    Beyond 60s is taking a day trip to the newly remodeled Island on October 16. The 6000 sq. ft. house will be our retreat for the day. We will have a devotional and lunch as well. $40 covers the whole day including food. Trip assistance is available. Please sign up by October 10 by contacting Marie Burns.

    Calling all women desiring to pray for children and schools, whether public, private or homeschool, including preschool through college/career. Experience the joy of replacing anxiety with peace and hope when you pray scripturally and specifically for your child and their school. We will have an informational meeting with Marcy Russo, Southeast Division, Coordinator of Moms in Prayer International on Tuesday, October 10, at 7-8:30 p.m. at Trinity.   • Tuesday Morning Prayer Group +

    The Kingdom Seekers Sunday School class invites you to join together in prayer for our nation and our world. We will meet on Tuesday mornings, 7:00- 7:45 in the chapel. Oral prayer is not required.

  • New College Small Groups +

    Men's Small Group

    Meets Wednesday nights at 7:30 p.m. in the Atrium (room across from the Gym and Trinity Center). Food provided.

    Women's Small Group

    Meets Thursday nights at 7:00 p.m. We will meet this Thursday at Melanie Levy's office: 607 North Vienna St. in Ruston. Supper will be provided.

  • Wednesday Evenings +

    Please join us for Wednesday evening activities. Common Ground fellowship dinner at 5:00 pm, small groups at 6:00 pm, and youth small groups at 6:00 pm. Please join us as we spend time together and grow in Christ. The menu for this week is breakfast for supper. The children’s menu is fish sticks and tater tots.

  • Running for God +

    Do you love to run? Do you want to want to love to run? Whether you have been running for years or are just a beginner, this class is for you. We will have an informational meeting Sunday September 17th at 5:15 p.m. in room 206 for anyone interested in learning more about this exciting new bible study and running group.

  • Celebrate Trinity +

    On September 24, all three services will come together for one service at 10:45 am in the sanctuary for a day of celebration. We will be led in worship by the Fabulous Equinox Jazz Orchestra. Following worship we will have lunch in the Trinity Center and a special presentation celebrating all that God has done at Trinity UMC in the last year.

  • Teach One to Lead One +

    Serve as a mentor to at risk students in our community. Train, teach, and see God at work in amazing ways! If you are interested in this service opportunity, please contact Amy Stegall in the church office. Hurry—Spots are lling up fast! We are looking for some GREAT mentors!

  • Imagine Heaven +

    Heaven and near-death experiences have been a hot topic in recent years. There are many stories of people who claim to have received a peek into the afterlife. Their stories point to what scripture says about Heaven. These people were astonished and transformed by what they saw, smelled, felt, and heard. Rolly walker will be leading the study whichbegins on September 17, 6:00 pm in room 232. Contact Becky Clark to sign up and order your book.

  • Voices of Light +

    Voices of Light youth music ministry is a mission based ministry for grades 6-12 proclaiming the light of Christ in a variety of settings such as: assisted living facilities, homeless ministry and children’s hospitals. We will lead in worship in our own church and in churches of other traditions, using a variety of music to proclaim the gospel. Rehearsals begin Sun. Sept. 10 at 4:15 p.m. in the Choir Room. “You Are the Light of the World” Matthew 5:14

  • Faith Friends +

    Faith Friends is an intergeneration program pairing senior adults with children K-5th grade. We believe the relationship between senior adults and children can be some of the most enjoyable and influential relationships in our faith walks. We gather 3 to 4 times during the school year for different activities. The same adult and child stay together all through the year and if you both join back up in subsequent years you will also stay together. If you have questions or would like to sign up for yourself or sign up a child please contact Marie Burns.

  • Ukulele Group +

    Youth and Adults are invited to join us for a ukulele class starting Sun. Sept. 10 at 3:15 in the Choir Room. We will have a limited number of ukuleles available to use or bring your own! If you're interested in learning the ukulele, this is a great opportunity for you.

  • Experiencing God: Knowing and Doing the Will of God +

    God is inviting you to experience Him in an intimate love relationship through which He reveals His will, His ways, and His work. This study, led by Carolyn Smith, starts September 6th from 9:30-11 a.m. in room 212. Workbooks are $17. Contact the church office if you are interested in doing the study or have any questions.
